I purchased this scarf for a late-November trip to Paris where the temperature was around 50F/10C. This scarf, paired with a reasonable wool coat (or even a thick sweater on occasion), had me walking the streets for hours in comfort. The fabric is of the highest quality, which means warmth without sweat and softness without itch. Style-wise, you could wear this scarf in any major international city and you won't feel underdressed.

Diversity of nice colors, comfortable lamb’s wool. Exact numerical sizing for best fit—something most, if not all, Alain Paine’s competitors lack, even with higher priced merchandise.

Once again Alan Paine sweaters are a cut above all others. I have collected them in various Shetland and lambswool versions and colors for over 45 years. They are still going strong. I finally had to replace my navy lambswool jumper as I lent mine to a friend and they decided they liked it enough to ask me if they could keep it. The new sweater is as great as all others I own and of course looks perfect with casual and dress casual. Excellent fabric, beautifully made and exceptional fit. What more do I need???
